General ledger

In Reports → Accounting → Ledger, select a top-level account and filter by date, document number, or title. The report includes transactions for that account and all its descendants, with a running balance. This balance starts at zero with the first matching row; it does not include the balance before the selected range.

The report is limited to the active fiscal year and reads approved and unapproved documents. Use the trial balance to compare a full balance, and the accounting reports guide for export details.
